Training School

Waldegrave is a training school which means it receives extra funding to enable the school to share its good practice with other schools, universities and individuals.

As well as training teachers through the Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP), the school takes PGCE trainees from: 

• Roehampton University
• St Mary's University College
• Central School of Speech and Drama
• Institute of Education

Each trainee has a subject mentor and over half the staff are trained mentors who have certification from PAN London Higher Education Institutions.
