GCSE Astronomy - one year course

Wednesday evenings at Waldegrave School from 6.30-9 pm.

FREE Taster Evening Wednesday 20 June from 7-8.30 pm at Waldegrave.

This highly successful one year course, which will be in its eighth year at Waldegrave School, uses course materials developed at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. The course is open to students who will be in Year 9 or above in September and other interested adults in the local area. The course tutor, Dr Alan Longstaff, who lectures and writes widely on astronomy is an Associate Lecturer in Planetary Science at the Open University and Tutor in Astronomy at the Royal Observatory Greenwich.
